I’m getting back into the swing of writing again and it feels good after taking about 7 weeks off from writing for family, holidays, and life circumstances. Before I started up again, I reread what I’d wrote to refresh my memory. Thankfully, I liked what I read. :D
Currently, I’m closing in on the end of chapter 9 in Legend (book 3). The scene sketches I’d planned in my outline are a life saver. It wasn’t hard to pick up where I’d left off.
Something that’s plagued my writing career is that I tend to be focused on one thing, to the point of neglecting other aspects of my life. Must get the draft or editing done!
So I’ll share a simple test I’ll be trying over the next few months. One week be a catch up week where I tackle the other things I need to do. (Ahem—newsletters? *blush*) The rest of the month will be for writing and editing.
What are your favorite ways to help balance all the tasks authors face?
As I sign off, I’ll remind you to…
Be the Difference. Be extraordinary.
All the best,
Amy
